Description
A C-clasp is a simple and classic fastening mechanism used in vintage brooches and pins. It consists of a curved metal piece shaped like the letter “C,” which holds the pin in place through tension. The pin slides into the open curve of the clasp, relying on pressure against the fabric to stay secure.
This type of clasp was commonly used in Victorian-era jewelry and remained popular until the early 20th century. Over time, more secure locking mechanisms, like the rollover safety clasp, became standard.
All the stones are there. There is one stone on the upper right hand order (the bottom one) that doesn’t appage Brush Gold Tone 1950’s Necklace & Braceletear to be set flat like the others.
Please look at the pictures to see the full effect. They are am important part of the description.
