Description
This antique Early American Pressed glass jadeite green single shaker was made by FOSTORIA SHADE & LAMP Company in Fostoria Ohio. The pattern is known is OVERLAPPING SHELL with flat bottom. The shaker has 3 rows of descending loops , giving the impression of a seashell. It has its metal cap. The metal cap is a little It is also called uranium Jadeite Marine Green Glass . It is number 33. It was introduced in 1893.
It was also known as#33 as well as Marine green glass. If put under a UV Light it will shine. It is about 3” tall and about 2.75” long.
A great example of early Jadeite uranium green glass.
This does have a crack from the bottom row of shell across from one side to the other but you can’t feel it. Only under very careful visual examination can you find it. Look at the photos as we have tired to focus in on it.
