Vintage Lyman 57 Windgauge Receiver with disc in original box

Description

Vintage Lyman 57 WindGauge Receiver with disc in original box is in excellent shape.  It says for Krug – jorgensen rifles.  This is practically new as it still has the Cosmoline on it.

The cosmoline is a thick, waxy, petroleum-based rust preventative used for long-term storage of military surplus firearms. It requires thorough cleaning for safe operation, particularly in the firing pin channel. Effective removal involves heat (heat gun, hot sunny day) to melt it, followed by solvents like mineral spirits or specialized cleaners to degrease metal parts.
